Sulayman is a seasoned Chartered Accountant with over 14 years of professional experience in financial management, auditing, strategic planning and financial reporting. As the Accountant at ANeCS, Sulayman oversees financial operations, ensures compliance with internal controls, and enhances organisational efficiency through rigorous and stringent best financial practices.
Sulayman holds professional qualifications in accounting and finance from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He is also a Certified Accounting Technician (CAT).
His career spans manning key roles such as Director of Finance and Administration at the Gambia Information & Communication Technology Agency (GICTA), Senior Finance Manager and Assistant Audit Manager at Gambia National Petroleum Corporation. He has a proven track record in implementing financial policies, managing budgets, conducting audits, and optimising financial reporting systems.
Sulayman has taught Financial and Management Accounting to professional certification courses in top financial training centres in the Gambia. He is adept at using advanced financial tools like Microsoft Navasion Dynamics and FinEx accounting systems to drive data-driven decision-making.
