De-Colonizing Terrorism Research Webinar

On 22nd November 2024  Dr. Mohamed Fouz Zacky invited Dr. Shirley Gabriella Achieng’ Executive Director at Africa Network of Critical Security Scholars and Dr. Mohammed Ilyas from the University of Derby to the webinar series themed: De-colonizing Terrorism Research organized by the International Islamic University, Malaysia (IIUM). 

Dr. Achieng’,introduced the Decolonial Terrorism Studies Network (One of the partners of ANeCS) and the Africa Network of Critical Security Scholars at a webinar titled: De-colonizing Terrorism Research. Both Networks comprise of scholars and practitioners from all over the world who advocate for local and nuanced solutions to terrorism and security problems in the global South.
